The immediate past representative of Kaduna Central district at the Senate, Shehu Sani, on Tuesday, July 16, recalled how Muhammadu Buhari openly criticized Olusegun Obasanjo when the latter was president.Sani said this in reaction to the shades of opinions that have greeted the latest letter written by Obasanjo to the President Buhari over the current state of the nation.The former senator also pleaded with Buhari not to turn the letter from Obasanjo into a ‘toilet roll’, but to ensure that it is kept close to his heart.

“If history matters to us, PMB was also openly and consistently critical of OBJ (Obasanjo) when the latter was president to the extent that Buhari was called all sorts of names by OBJ boys,” he said asking those who think they are too young to know to research and read.“The president should not use OBJ’s letter as a toilet roll; just clip it near the dressing mirror,” he added.Sani noted with an illustration: “The messenger is not surely handsome but the message is a bell and a compass.”
The former senator said Obasanjo and Buhari know each other more than anyone knows about them.
The PDP, in a statement by Kola Ologbondiyan, its national spokesperson, said the party is now vindicated over its constant complaints of the security challenges facing the country.
